Belgium


-Princess Mathilde visited the House of Parenting in Péruwelz and  the de Bakermat in Leuven. The House of Parenting encourages a process of co-education among parents of children 0-3 years old and social workers, for the development of the child. A collaboration with Le Galion, a unit of Family Education of Péruwelz CPAS, provides services to disadvantaged families.

Denmark


-Crown Princess Mary was at the Odense Steel Shipyard where she had the honor of naming one of the Danish Royal Navy’s last three frigates to be built. after a few speeches form offiicals, she christened the new modern warship, The Niels Juel. See photos. Also this week, the future Queen attended the opening of the photo exhibition,Welcome to the World Citizen No. 7 Billion, held at the Rådhus in Copenhagen.

Greece


-Princess Theodora attended the 12th annual Latin GRAMMY Awards at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, USA on Thursday

Great Britain


-Queen Elizabeth II lead the annual Remembrance Sunday service in Whitehall, England on Sunday, with several of the British Royal Family in attendance: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge & Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Vice Admrial Tim Lawerance (husband of The Princess Royal), Prince Phillip, The Duke of Endinburgh and Great Britain's Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Leader of the Labour Party


-Queen Elizabeth II marked the 80th anniversary of Goodenough College on Thursday.


-Prince Phillip, The Duke of Endinburgh and Queen Elizabeth II attended the opening of the new exhibit, Royal Manuscripts: The Genius of Illumination, at the British Library. The Royal Couple  visited Margate, England on Friday, where they toured the Turner Contemporary art gallery, a new café, and the RNLI Lifeboat station

-Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy rumors continue with the news that she and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge will be moving into Kensington Palace, into Princess Margaret's old apartment-complete with six bedrooms and a nursery in 2012 after extensive renovations are completed. Prince Harry will move into their two-bedroom apartment at Kensington Palace after they move into their new digs[1]. Another potential renovation is a new statute, in place of the one in the garden directly outside their new place, instead of William III, it would be of Willaim's late mother [4].   Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was named #1 on  UK Harper’s Bazaar’s Best Dressed list )[2]! She and her husband were also praised by film star Roger Moore for their  charity work in Denmark [3]. Source 1, Source 2, Source 3, Source 4

-Prince William, Duke of Cambridge announced that he will be deployed to the Falkland Islands for RAF training for six weeks in February and March 2012. He, alongside his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended a reception and dinner in aid of the Appeal at St James's Palace

-Charles, Prince of Wales & Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall 's  African tour continued with a visit to Tanzania. On Sunday, the Royal pair  arrived in Tanzania, where they were greeted by President Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania watch traditional dancers. On Monday, they visited the Wateraid Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project in Feri Suburb, Kigambon, where they met with village school children. Then Charles, Prince of Wales inspected the troops during the 50th anniversary of their independence. While her husband was inspecting the troops, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was busy visiting the WAMA Foundation and Read International. On Tuesday, the royal pair visited Wonder Workshop  and attend a State Dinner given by the President of  Tanzania. Wednesday, the future Monarchs visisted the  Kizimbani Spice Plantation. On Thursday it was off to the island of Zanzibar, where the royal couple danced with locals. During their visit, the Royals visited  Arusha National Parka Majengo Maasai Boma.

-Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall made it clear that she wishes to be known as Princess Consort rather than Queen if Charles outlives his mother and becomes king. Legally, she will be Queen, however, this does not mean she has to use that title. For example, she is legally the Princess of Wales, but uses the title Duchess of Cornwall to avoid the sensitivities that people may have with Charles's first wife, Diana..

Japan


-Emperor Akihito was hospitalized late last week after suffering  a worsening case of bronchitis and a fever (source) (UPDATE: he was due to be discharged on Friday, but it was decided that he would stay at least another day after his temperature rose)

Luxembourg


-Grand Duke Henri spent two days (Nov 7-8) on an official visit in Vietnam, where he reviewed the honor gaurd  along side Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang on Friday.


-Guillaume, Hereditary Grand-Duke celebrated his 30th birthday on Friday. He celebrated by giving a televised interview. He is the oldest of The Grand Duke and Duchess's children. (part 2)

Monaco


-Prince Albert attended a Gala Event Against Cystic Fibrosis At Cinema Le Sporting on  Tuesday. Wednesday, His Serene Highness attended the 2nd  annual  Monaco International Clubbing Show. On Saturday, he attended the 2011 World Athletics Gala Awards and the opening of the 2011 UIPM Congress. The Prince even took some time out to visit school children with his wife!

-Princess Charlene took sometime out to visit with students at l'école maternelle de Saint-Charles with her husband. After he left to attend to other official engagements (see above!), and she stayed to play with the kids. She left with an assortment of items from the school. (source)

-Queen Sofia attended the Hermitage at Prado Museum on Monday.

-Felipe & Letizia, The Prince and Princess of Austrias visited London, England on Monday, where they attended  a 'Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain' Gala Dinnervisited the 'World Travel Market' international tourism fair at the ExCeL exhibition centre. They will visit Chile on Nov 22-24, check back for a full report.

Norway


-Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit will be releasing a CD in time for Christmas titled “We Light Our Lamps” to help raise funds for disadvantaged children. The Crown Princely couple thought of this unique fundraising opportunity themselves, and recruited some of Norway's top talent for the CD in hopes that the CD would reach out to the younger generation. Sweden


-Queen Silva viewed the exhibit Under Pressure: Master Prints from Atelje Larsen at the Dunkers Kulturhus in Helsingborg, Sweden on Thursday.

-Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Västernorrland CountySweden, where they toured the city of Kramfors, Sweden and were greeted by many of the city's officials. Then it was off to tour the Design Academy for Furniture and the Folke Bernadotte Academy. Later on in the afternoon they returned to Härnösand for important meetings at the governor’s mansion.

The Netherlands


-Crown Princess Maxima participated in the opening of the European Office of The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) held at the Pulchri Studio in Den Haag, The Netherlands. Gallery 1 Gallery 2
