Prince Charles and Camilla visit Wales: July 2013
Day 1 (July 1)
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall began their 5-day visit to Wales doing separate activities. He started out with a visit to the Llandovery Work Hub to meet with “...members of the Llandovery Development Partnership and local council representatives and visited the Dyfed Powys Police Headquarters where he presented Long Service medals...” and The Duchess toured “...Wales’s largest independent publishing house, Gomer Press.” and hosted a tea for “...children and their families from Dreams and Wishes, a charity which supports seriously ill young people.” {Photos}{Source}{Source}{Source}
Day 2 (July 2)
The future monarch and his wife paid a visit to the Rhug Estate Farm Shop, where they viewed "...local organic produce, met with staff and guests and toured the Farm Shop...” {Source}. Afterward, they visited
the Rhug Chapel and Pistyll Church. The Prince of Wales also “...opened the new Llwyn Isaf Anaerobic Digestion plant near Caernarfon...” {Photos}
Day 3 (July 3)
The Royal pair began their third day in Wales with a visit to the Doctor Who set at Roath Lock Studios. While there, they met the cast of Doctor Who, and toured the set {Photos}. After their visit to Doctor Who, they went their separate ways. Prince Charles visited the Ebbw Fawr Learning Community to meet with members of the Teach First charity {Source} and toured the Prince's Trust Cymru headquarters {Source} before visting the Farmers’ Co-operative Shop {Source}.
Meanwhile, The Duchess of Cornwall visited volunteers and supporters of the Emmaus charity shop before joining her husband for a "...Welsh Flok evening for guests from Wales and beyond at Llwynywermod {Source}"
Day 4 (July 4)
The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Maggie's Cancer Caring Center at Singleton Hospital where she toured the center, and visited with patients and their families {Photos}{Photos}.
Day 5 (July 5)
To conclude their visit to Wales, the future monarch paid a visit to The Prince of Wales Inn for tea and cakes with a group called Tuesday Ladies, met local dignitaries, among other things. Afterward, he toured the finished Coed Darcy Demonstration Village
