Richard Casimir Karl August Robert Konstantin, 6th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg was born 29 October 1934 in Germany, the eldest son of Prince Gustav Albrecht and Princess Margareta Fouché d'Otrante of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg { Source }. His father was declared missing in 1945 and dead in 1969, leaving him to be raised along side his younger brother and two younger sisters by their mother, who return the family to her native Sweden. He attended the boarding schools Viggbyholm and Sigtuna. The young prince attended University of Göttingen, where he studed forest science, where he obtained a foresty diploma. Princess Tessy of Luxembourg  was born Tessy Antony on 28 October 1985{ Source }. She attended a technical high school in Pétange, Luxembourg, prior to following her brother's footsteps and joining the army. With her career in the Luxembourg Army, she has participated in missions in Yugoslavia and Kosovo. During her mission in Yugoslavia, she met Prince Louis, who was there visiting the Luxembourg troops. She and Prince Louis were married on 29 September 2006{ Source }.
