Christian Alexander Mowatt was born 4 June 1993 as the second child of Mariana Victoria Alexandra Ogilvy and Paul Julian Mowatt {Source}. He has one older sister, Zenouska{Source}. He is the grandson of Rt. Sir Angus James Robert Bruce Ogilvy and Princess Alexandra of Kent {Source}. Currently, he is 50th in line for the British throne, after the immediate family of reining monarch, The Gloucester family, his great-uncle (The Duke of Kent) and his family, his grandmother, uncle, two cousins, and mother {Source}.

While Mowatt holds no official role like that of her grandmother, he does occasionally attend royal events such as Trooping of Colour and royal weddings. On 5 January 2005, he attended his grandfather's funeral services {Photos}.
