As her family is a defunct German territorial monarchy, it's likely that she and her brothers live fairly normal lives.

She is the paternal granddaughter of  Moritz, Landgrave of Hesse, and his former wife, Princess Tatiana of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg{Source}.
