Royal Profile: Princess Ameera bint Aidan bin Nayef Al-Taweel Al-Otaibi

Princess Ameera bint Aidan bin Nayef Al-Taweel Al-Otaibi was born 6 November 1983 as the daughter of Aidan bin Nayef Al-Taweel Al-Otaibi {Source}.

She would meet her future husband, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal when she was conducting an interview for her school's newspaper{Source}. Nine months later, they were married. They were divorced in November 2013 {Source}.

Princess Ameera attended the University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut, USA, where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration {Source}.

However, her claim to fame is not the fact she married a prince, but that she is an active humanitarian. She undertakes many humanitarian activities through her work as an executive committee member of The Al-Waleed bin Talal Foundation.
